I got hooked on racing while living a "total immersion" program in 1995 when I was homeless, jobless, and broke. That's when my gainfully employed and extremely generous racing fan (freak?) of an older brother took me in. I stayed with him about 4 months, learning a bit about everything from F1 to lawnmower racing. If he was home and you wanted to watch TV, you had to watch racing. It was like that's all there was on television. Eventually I got a job and moved on, taking a new-found fascination of racing with me.
Over the next few years, I travelled western Canada building a career in radio broadcasting. I eventually returned to Edmonton, Alberta to be close to family and have been working in electronic security ("I could tell you but then I'd have to kill you") for the past 8 years. It is here I have been able to better nurture my love (obsession?) for Nascar's top three series as well as the Indy and Champ Car Series.
I have been to Nascar races at Talladega, Richmond, and Texas Motor Speedway, the Vancouver Molson Indy, and presently live a $7-cab ride away from the Champ Car track at Edmonton's City Center Airport.
